Who are these guys? My ears are so stoked that I found this band!

Athletics’ newest release Who You Are Is Not Enough is a gem. 5 tracks. Or should I say, 5 brilliant tracks. It reminds me of Moving Mountains’ Foreward and O’Brother’s – The Death of Day; Short, lovely, perfect pieces.

Who You Are Is Not Enough was mixed/mastered by Greg Dunn of Moving Mountains and is available for “pay what you want” digital download. Athletics’ Bandcamp

I spend $10 at Jack in the Box for a burger and curly fries, lets give these musicians a little support, after all they are just trying to get out there. We need to support talent. $10 bucks is not going to kill you. Plus, they have awesome beards.

Pumped to see what else these talented folks will be doing next and future tour dates.

Athletics had a couple videos posted to Quiet Country Audio YouTube channel about a month ago. It features Athletics playing two songs live:

III – Who You Are is Not Enough
The Cost of Living – Why Aren’t I Home?

Listen to this/Enjoy it
I- “STAYYYYYYY” 3:38
III – “Now my future and my past are ending tragically the same” cut to minutes of instrumental bliss 2:50

myVEGAS is a Facebook game where you could earn rewards for free Hotel rooms, Shows, Buffets, etc. Sounds too good to be true, there must be a catch. Well, besides the posts on your new feed, (it is kind of annoying :/ ) there is no sleazy sneaky trap.

I was just in Las Vegas and bought a $125 ticket to the “Beatles Love” Cirque du Soleil show at The Mirage. My cousin who referred me to the myVEGAS game, actually used his points and got (2) tickets to the same show. The only difference was he did not pay a dime and his tickets were far better than mine. I was in the balcony and he was center floor seats, at least a $250 dollar value total.

I’m sold. I “like” this! Where can I start!

Collect points every couple hours, play slots or card games and earn loyalty points. Sure, you can actually buy chips, don’t do it! Be patient and you can get some pretty nice rewards for free. Right now, I have about 50,000 and will either spend them on a complimentary room at The Mirage or grab tickets to an interesting show. Choose from many different rewards from different MGM hotels.

What are you waiting for?
